Two Juniors and one senior were selected by the 2AAAAA head baseball coaches as members of the All Region Baseball Team. Senior Jet Thomas and juniors Acy Paulk and Jake Manders were selected as first team all region players.
Jet Thomas led the team with 4 homeruns and 22 RBI's including 7 doubles while batting .277 on the season with an on base percentage of .378. Thomas was a workhorse on the mound tossing 52 innings in 12 games while striking out 56 batters and surrendering just 18 walks. Jet had 55 put outs on defense while maintaining a field percentage of .890.
Jake Manders batted .267 with 20 hits with 11 RBI's while scoring 18 runs. Manders drew 7 walks and reached base being hit by a pitch 6 times. In the field, Manders had 82 total chances while managing 55 putouts with a .913 fielding percentage.
Acy Paulk led the team with 114 plate appearances while blasting 32 hits (28 singles, 3 doubles and 1 triple) Paulk had 14 RBI's while scoring 22 runs. Paulk also reached base 11 times via a walk and another 7 times by being hit by a pitch. Acy led the team with a batting average of .352. Paulk pitched 21 innings on the season and recorded 14 strikeouts. Defensively, Paulk had 56 putouts with a fielding percentage of .897.
Manders and Paulk will return to the diamond as seniors next year under first year head coach Jamie Ammons. Thomas will continue his career at the collegiate level.
