The Ware County High School baseball program hosted its first camp under new head coach Jamie Ammons this past Saturday. Coach Ammons and camp staff hosted campers at the Ware County High School baseball field. Camp staff included two former Gator Alumni, both middle school coaching staffs, and the high school staff. Coach Ammons filled the camp schedule with coaching instruction on the skills of throwing, fielding, and bunting. Campers were able to see how the high school program will implement the newly purchased FungoMan into the everyday practice plans. Campers were sent home with a Gator baseball cap, a better skill set, and a smile on their face. The high school program plans to host more camps of this nature, keep checking the Ware County High School's athletic website at www.warecountygators.net, the Ware County Dugout Club's Facebook page, and Twitter for updated schedules.
