JV Football Team Defeats Camden 17-14 in the Swamp

On Thursday Oct. 4, Gators JV took on Camden Co. JV at Memorial Stadium. The game start with both offenses being stagnate. Camden would strike first with a score and the gator's special teams would get a safety as they attempted to block a punt. In the second half the Gator's offense found life with Brandon Mills moving them down the field  and capping off a drive with a score from about 10yds. PAT attempt was good by Robert Jacobs.  The Gator's defense would create a turnover with Malcolm Cratic causing a fumble and Xavier Huff recovering. The Gators offense would find itself in another third and long situation and TK Norton would make a huge catch for a big first down and also cap that drive with a score running jet sweep from 20yds out.  With 2pt. Conversion attempt being good (pass from Caleb Stewart to Jett Justice). To seal the victory for the Gators the defense came up with another big turnover to stop Camden Co. with an interception by Jett Justice.  Gators win their second JV game of the season with a final score of 17-14.

Gator JV is off next week and will face Wayne Co. JV team for their last game of the season on Oct. 18.
