Ware Rolls Past Glynn Academy 35-13

The Ware County Gators made the short trip to the Marshes of Glynn on Friday night and came away with a huge non region victory over a very talented Glynn Academy team. The Gators buily a 21-0 lead in the first half and added two more scores in the second half to defeat the Red Terror 35-13 in Brunswick. The Gators were able to move the chains consistently throughout the game.

The Gators had to overcome some adversity as three defensive starters sat out Friday's game. Several folks got their first start and stepped in and did a fantastic job of stopping a very potent and lethal offiense. Brodie Hall made his varsity debut Friday and was perfect on all of his point after attempts. The Gators will enjoy this victory until Saturday morning and then put it behind them to get ready for a showdown with top ranked Lowndes County in the Swamp next Friday night. Kick off is set for 7:30. Advance tickets will go on sale beginning Monday morning from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Tickets can also be purchased at J Green and Company Jewelers, First Southern Bank and the Board of Education office.
