Ware Golf Team Tuning up for Region
On Thursday afternoon, Ware County hosted a golf match at Okefenokee Country Club.  Ware County played Camden County and Berrien County in a boy's golf match.  Ware County won with a score of 166.  Camden County shot a 181, and Berrien County shot a 184.  Ware County also won the girls match over Brunswick High School.  Ware County shot 142, and Brunswick shot a 150.  Lee Smith for Ware County was the low medalist in the boys match with a score of 37.  Taylor Palmer from Brunswick High School was low medalist in the girls match with a score of 38.  
 
Ware County boys scores were:  Lee Smith 37, Kaleb Dial 38, Ethan Arnold 44, Yuri Steedley 47, Nathan Pritchett 52, and Nick Putala 54.  Banner Thomas competed as an individual and shot a 57.  Ware County girls scores were: Carlin Paulk 41, Emma Thomas 49, Clarissa Musgrove 52, and Grace Link 54.  
 
Ware County will compete again on April 22st.  The girls will play in the Lady Blue Devil Invitational in Tifton, and the boys will play in the Neil Graham Invitational in Douglas.
