Ware Golf Team Tunes Up for Region Tournament
On Monday afternoon, Ware County Boys traveled to Douglas to play in the Neil Graham Invitational.  The Ware County girls traveled to Tifton to play in the Lady Blue Devil Invitational.  The Ware County boys finished 9th in the 12 team tournament.  Coffee County won the boys tournament with a score of 307.  Low Medalist for the boys tournament was 69 from Will Spivey from Coffee County.  Kaleb Dial and Lee Smith from Ware County made the all tournament team with scores of 77.  The all tournament team consisted of the top 5 scores.  The scores for Ware County were:  Lee Smith 77, Kaleb Dial 77, Ethan Arnold 87, Yuri Steedley 103, and Nicolas Putala 115.  Ware County shot 344 which is there lowest score of the year so far.  
 
In the Lady Blue Devil Invitational, final details were not available.  The Ware County girls shot 286.  Carlin Paulk shot 87, Grace Link 95, Emma Thomas 100, and Clarissa Musgrove 104.  
 
Ware County will travel to Sanctuary Cove on Tuesday to compete in a golf match.  This will be the final tune-up before the 1AAAAA Golf Tournament in Statesboro, on Thursday.
