"I am really happy for these players.  They practice long hours; and it is great to see the practice paid off.  In my opinion, it is so hard to peak the day of the tournament.  Our kids definitely did that today.  We had a great practice on Wednesday; and it carried over to the tournament.  We had a busy week.  Both teams played in a tournament on Monday, we played a match on Tuesday, and had a practice round on Wednesday.  We had 8 of our 10 players shoot their season low score today when the pressure was on.  Our team was really good today. I am really proud for all of these kids.  We now have a chance to compete for a state championship and not everyone can say that.  We will take some time off and then start preparing for Carrollton next week.  We have 6 freshman, 2 sophomores, and 2 seniors;  and the future looks bright if they will work hard."
