Last night the Ware County Boys JV Soccer team faced Glynn Academy, arguably their toughest opponent yet. The First Half started off with the Gators Defense struggling to hold off the Glynn Academy Terrors' Offense which scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of play. The Gators Defensive Unit did step up following those goals to hold Glynn Academy scoreless for the rest of the Half. Goal-Keeper Aaron Goddard had multiple saves which kept the game from getting out of hand early in the First Half. The Second Half, the Gators continued fighting to hold the Terrors to just 3 goals but were unsuccessful. The Gators finished out the night losing 8-0 to Glynn Academy. The score, however does not reflect the level of energy and tenacity of the Gators Offense, led by Jashad Howard, Malik Daniels, Cameron Berg and Cristian Gaono, never gave up and continued to push the ball deep into Glynn Academy territory for scoring opportunities.
Come out to Support your Gators as they host the Camden County Wildcats on Thursday, March 8th at Memorial Stadium at 6:30 PM.
