Lady Gators Win Andy Summers Invitational for the Third Consecutive Time
HOW SWEET…The Lady Gators pull off a THREE-PEAT!
After a big win on Tuesday in our home opener, the Lady Gators traveled over to Tift County High School to defend their 2017 Championship Title in the 9thAnnual Andy Sumner's Invitational. The Lady Gators won this invitational in 2016 as well. The Lady Gators managed to pull out a win over the Tift County Lady Blue Devils by 8 points. "The girls were determined to defend their title, and you could see it in their eyes and by their performance," said Coach Alesia Gibson. "We took first and second in the 100M Dash and the Pole Vault division, which was big for us in team points. The girls were able to score points in all 16 events, and that played a huge part in our win," said Coach Gibson. "Overall, the coaches were proud of how these young ladies represented Ware County High School.
 
The Gators/Lady Gators will be back in action on Tuesday as Wayne County, Appling County, Pierce County, Valdosta High, Berrien County, and Jeff Davis will travel over to Gator Land.
