Ware Girls Finish First, Boys Second at Osprey Cove

On Thursday afternoon, Ware County traveled to Osprey Cove to compete against Camden County in a golf match.  Camden County won the boys match with a very impressive 2 under par 142 team score; and Ware County shot a 170.  Ware County won the girls match with a score of 124 to Camden's 132. Camden County had two guys that shot a 2 under par score of 34 for the low medalist honors.  Kylee Wheeler for Ware County took low medalist honors with a score of 38.


For the Ware County boys:  Levi Jewell shot a 40, Coby Eunice a 41, Fred Windham a 43, Ty Tatum a 46, Dawson Roland a 54, and Blake Turner a 55.  Dustin Lewis shot a 45 in the junior varsity portion of the match for Ware County.  For the girls,  Kylee Wheeler 38, Sutton Rollins 40, Lauren Callahan 46, and Grace Link 53. 


The Ware County boys will play Pierce County, at Lakeview Golf Club on Tuesday; and the Ware County girls will travel to Tifton to compete in the Lady Blue Devil Invitational.  This will be Ware County's last match of the season until the Area 1AAAAA Tournament.
