PEACHTREE CITY — Starr's Mill captured its second straight title beating runner-upMcIntosh by eight strokes to complete a sweep in the classification. The Panthers were the only team to break 600 carding a 598 team score. Luke Phillips claimed medalist honors at oneunder-par with rounds of 70-73-143. The rest of the field includes McIntosh (606), Ola (618), Statesboro (629), Carrollton (631), Wayne County (633), Harris County (652), South Effingham (659), Buford (668), Veterans (668), Ware County (347) and Riverwood (705).
Ware County shot 347 in the second round, 16 shots higher than its score Monday. Levi Jewell's round of 81 (78-159; four-way tie for 26th) led the Gators. Fred Windham followed with an 83 (75-158; three-way tie for 23rd), Ethan Arnold added an 88 (83-171; 52nd) and Ty Tatum rounded out the team score with a 95 (95- 190; tie for 68th). Blake Turner posted a 99 (115-214; 75th) and Dustin Lewis closed with a 106 (95-201; tie for 72nd).
