Lady Gators lose 5-0 to top ranked Starr's Mill Lady Panthers.  Starr's Mill are currently ranked #4 in 5A.  The Lady Gators came out and defended like champs only giving up one goal in the last minute of the 1st half.  The Lady Gators gave one more goal early in the 2nd half bringing the score 2-0 with 20 minutest left in the game.  Lady Gators and Lady Panthers both are awarded a red card resulting in both teams playing down a player 10 vs 10.  This created more space for the Lady Panthers to attack and resulted in 3 more goals scored late in the 2nd half.  Lady Gators fought hard but got beat by a more experienced and older team. Goalkeeper Lindsey Tanner played an incredible game making 1 extraordinary save after another earning her Woman of the Match Honors. Centerback Trinity Norwood also had an impressive defensive performance earning her Woman of the Match Honors.

Lady Gators have had a great season this year and have done well overcoming their youth with talent and hardwork.  Lady Gators played the season with 3 Seniors, 1 Junior, 10 Sophmores, and 6 Freshmen.  The Lady Gators will work hard this summer to improve and come back stronger.
