Lady Gator Volleyball Team Takes on Thomasville

The Lady Gators traveled over to Thomasville High School for a play date against the Lady Bulldogs. "The Lady Gators lost the match, but left everything on the court," said Head Coach Alesia Gibson. "Lately, we have not played well and looked lethargic in our playing. However, even though we lost, the girls buckled down played some of decent volleyball," said Coach Gibson. The Lady Gators would lose in two straight close sets by the scores of 25-22 and 25-23.  The Lady Gators will travel over to New Hampstead HS next Saturday for the 2-AAAAA Region Tournament. The JV Lady Gators lost their match as well, but played hard. "I feel that these young players have improved a lot from day one," said JV Coach Chari Malone. Although the Lady Bulldogs would prevail, the Lady Gators kept the sets close. The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Gators by the scores of 25-23 and 25-22.
